erin and john, my very first wedding clients!!, contacted me a few weeks ago informing me that they were expecting their first baby. you can imagine my excitement! :o) we had a laid back shoot with beautiful little penelope and her two very proud parents today. these two are such wonderful people and i know they are going to make amazing, loving parents!

my dear friend (and bridesmaid!! eee!!) mandy, and her hubby chris, were in town from africa (..yes, africa!) for a few days. i was blessed to get the chance to spend a couple evenings with them while they were here… one of which, we spent having a little photo shoot. :o) happy anniversary you two… i can’t wait til you’re back for christmas :o) you both are so wonderful!

i first met up with local singer/songwriter, dean phelps, a few months back when he contacted me about doing some photography for his upcoming album. we finally figured out a date and were blessed with some perfect weather for the shoot. his style is a laid back mixture of acoustic, folk, gospel, and americana. to learn more about dean, his music, and his upcoming album, check out his website. i’ll leave you with a handful of my favorite images from today :o)
